Email | WebsiteOmar Abdelaziz has got his B.Sc. degree being excellent with honors in 2021 from Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, Egypt. His graduation project was to reimplement the MIT paper: Speech2Face with some changes in architecture. Following his graduation, he worked as a software engineer at Ejada Systems Ltd., a big company in the middle east. For the time being, he is doing his M.Sc. at UBC under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Shehata in the field of computer vision.

EmailCurrently I am working on my Master’s Degree in Computer Science at UBCO with Dr. Shehata and Dr. Rajapakshe as my supervisors. I will be focusing on AI and Machine Learning techniques used in medical imaging. In 2022, I finished BSc in Computer Science and decided to continue my academic pursuits. With current research I am hoping to put the theoretical knowledge I gained into practice and obtain more hands-on experience with Deep Learning models. In my free time I enjoy drawing and playing board games with my friends. I often participate in game jams with other developers and artists.
Anubhav Gupta

His research interests are in the area of Computer Vision, Deep Learning and Intelligent Autonomous Systems. In his free time he loves to play badminton and chess.
